The method of diagnosis of tuberculosis is based on the use of VATS in conjunction with minimally invasive techniques - endobronchial biopsy of the bronchial mucosa and transbronchial lung biopsy. VATS biopsy can improve the information content of a biopsy to 100%, to obtain sufficient material for histological, bacteriological and molecular genetic studies to verify the diagnosis, reduce the time of diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis to 2-3 weeks.
