Thanks to 10 years of continuous work on the engine, ARMA II boasts the most realistic battles in the open terrain in the world. The game´s highly detailed landscape is a very accurate copy of the real area, modeled using spatial geographic data. The surrounding nature of this region was completely recreated, and is also inhabited by people and various animals. Wild animals roam the forest, while the inhabitants of Chernarus try to survive in the epicenter of hostilities.
