Magicka 2 is the second part of the arcade magical action RPG with a cooperative for four, a continuation of the plot of the previous part in the lands of Midgard, as well as new spells and equipment. In the new chapter, players rise from the ruins of the castle Aldreheim to find Midgard almost cleared of wizards. Only a few remained alive after the War of the Mages, and those either went mad or became incredibly hostile to all living things. To rid the world of evil again, four wizards and their guide Vlad will have to go through the dangers of Midgard armed with an updated version of the famous Magicka spell system. Players will once again try on the mantles of overly powerful and unexpectedly funny wizards across the fantasy genre!
Learn to cast spells in a new way!
• As any all-powerful mage, you will have thousands of spells at your disposal. Experiment with them to crush evil and help your teammates in battle.
• Combine up to five elements at a time to work with or against your friends.
• Co-op play with active friendly fire.
• All levels and game modes in Magicka 2 are supported for four-player play.
Players have access to quick connection, checkpoints, and other features.
• Friendly fire is always on: destroying enemies will be even more fun if you accidentally injure or kill one of your friends.
Overcome insurmountable challenges in Trials mode
• Be the sorcerer you always wanted to be. With a huge number of robes, magic staffs and other weapons, you can create a mage of your own to wreak havoc among hordes of fantastical creatures. Experiment with Magicka 2´s dynamic spell system and find the spells that are just right for you. Add to all of the above the ability to play cooperatively and enable "friendly fire" and you have a recipe for disastrous fun.
Replay the next chapter with "artifacts"
• Magicka 2 players have a gripping storyline and a colorful fantasy world inspired by Scandinavian folklore. New to the gameplay are "Artifacts", with which players can customize and change the rules of the game to make it more fun to replay.
