The game takes place 30 years after the apocalyptic blizzard that affected the world of Frostpunk. The Earth still suffers from endless frosts and a harsh icy climate. You will play as the leader of a growing metropolis that needs resources, and internal conflicts are becoming part of the inevitable reality. You will have to make decisions about the future of your City and deal with their consequences.
In the game Frostpunk 2, you can build the City on a new scale: create entire districts for different needs. Make sure that all parts of the City work harmoniously with each other, and also research technologies that will lead your citizens to progress.
"Frostpunk 2 is still a game about the City and its society," says Jakub Stokalski, co-director of the game and design director at 11 bit studios.
“But internal unrest caused by growing social divisions means that players will face new types of threats. Through this post-apocalyptic setting, we tell a cautionary tale about human ambition. Because ultimately, it will not be nature that will destroy us, but ourselves.”
As the City grows, new laws become more difficult to pass. People gradually split into factions with different, often conflicting, visions for the future.
The Council is where different ideas collide with each other, sometimes violently. Your role as a governor is to ensure that the City does not fall to these conflicts. Resolve the crises that arise while guiding humanity towards something new./delivery
