Son of a Gun is an exciting top-down shooter filled with bullets, blood, and explosions. Collect and manage your arsenal of weapons and grenades to fight hordes of insects, giant robots, slime monsters, and even space ghosts. Choose one of six characters and upgrade them as you progress through the single-player campaign. Sometimes, you can use a prototype time-distorting device to combat the overwhelming number of enemies.

You are Son of a Gun, an interplanetary mercenary working for the Sons of a Gun organization. You are always called in when heavy fire support is needed and the problem needs to be solved by force. While on vacation on a tropical planet, you receive a call from the SOAG command center…

You will have access to a huge arsenal of seven different weapon classes. Take pistols, shotguns, submachine guns, rifles, plasma guns, sniper rifles or rocket launchers - create your own playstyle. Don´t forget about grenades - choose your favorite type of grenades: cluster, power, explosive, implosive...

You will fight in the heart of distant planets with various biomes. Each planet has its own unique environment and its own challenges - reach the target zone, unlock the base gate, download data from data stations or survive the attack of hordes of enemies.

Encounter over 20 enemy types, including swarms of insects, zombie-like creatures, auto-turrets, giant robots, horrific degenerates, slime monsters, and even space ghosts.
