Superfrog HD is a 2D side-scroller, the original version of which was released in 1993, and 20 years later received a new life thanks to a re-release. This project is optimized for modern hardware and uses high-resolution textures to create a modern picture for this genre.
The main goal of the protagonist - Superfrog, who is an enchanted young man - is to save the princess, captured by an evil witch with insidious plans. Gradually moving through 24 levels of a single-player story campaign, the gamer will achieve side goals - escaping from a circus prison or finding a golden key. It is possible to pass the stage only by opening the gate, collecting the required number of coins scattered in different corners of the map. There are many enemies on the locations, complicating the movement forward and jumping on platforms. Among them are various ghosts, knights, bats and so on. After completing each level, the gamer gets into the final boss fight with the evil witch. The fight with her takes place on the territory of the castle. All stages are divided into 6 different dimensions, in which the scenery in the background changes. Between the levels there are several types of mini-games for earning coins and additional bonuses. But the most important thing that this mechanic brings is a system of codes that allows you to save your progress and gives you the opportunity to start from this place when you restart.
