Absolver is a network multiplayer battle where players hide under the masks of Challengers at the behest of the omnipresent Guides, the new rulers of the fallen empire of Adal, who decide whether you are worthy of joining the ranks of their elite corps of security forces. Challengers must wander the forgotten lands, encounter others, learn combat skills, find weapons and armor, and fight one-on-one or in three-on-three groups.
Players choose a fighting style for their Challengers, a favorite weapon, and distribute attacks in the Battle Deck, making the battle unique. By fighting opponents, sparring with friends, and even mentoring newcomers, players gain knowledge, learn new combat moves, and acquire weapons and armor on their way to the Ultimate. Game modes include single-player, online co-op, and online duel modes.
