Turm III is an experimental tank developed in Germany based on Leopard 1 The only prototype was built in the mid 60s and successfully passed testing but was never put into service due to the high cost and difficulty of production The tank is able to develop a maximum speed of up to 65 km h The armament consists of a 105 mm L7A2 cannon and a 30 mm cannon and also the tank is equipped with a 762 mm machine gun The ammunition includes APDS HESH and HEATFS shells
