Pandemic Train is a survival game with elements of roguelike and strategy in which you control the crew and passengers aboard an old steam—powered train. The plot takes place in an alternate timeline of the 20th century, when a catastrophic epidemic of the virus destroys the world´s population. A mysterious plague kills infected people within 24 hours, leading to mass panic, riots and war. The world lies in ruins and you are the only hope for its survival. Explore wastelands, collect resources, fight bandits and find a cure for a deadly disease! Survive! In Pandemic Train, the world has become a very inhospitable place. People will die along the way, and you will have to minimize the damage. There are few resources, so you will have to distribute them very carefully. And the scariest thing is that there are a lot of hungry wolves around. By "hungry wolves" we mean desperate people who will do anything to defeat you and stop the search for a cure. To defeat your opponents, take care of the resources you acquire and produce. They are limited, so use them carefully. Unfortunately, this is not the end of the bad news... Resource management In the harsh reality of Pandemic Train, you need to be self—sufficient - you grow your own food, raise livestock, collect and purify drinking water yourself, and take care of a proper supply of ammunition. You have to use every piece of trash or trash at your disposal and turn it into something useful. This often leads to difficult decisions, for example – there are rarely enough medicines for everyone, so you will have to decide who should be treated and who will suffer or even be left to die. Fight the plague! The main goal of your actions is to create a vaccine and save the remnants of humanity from extinction. The longer you manage to keep the train moving, the less likely it is that the crew will come into contact with the virus, and your scientists will have more time to work on a cure. You can customize the train to suit your needs — decide how many people will be in it and how many cars will be attached to the locomotive. But remember: the bigger the party, the more difficult it is to keep it under control. You are the only hope of humanity. You are the last hope... of humanity.
