Slice Dice & Rice is an independent production from the number of fights without life points. Inspired by the Bushido Blade series, the game is based on the concept of finding gaps in the opponent´s defense and completing a round with a single unmistakable strike. Forget about the tedious points of life – every scratch limits your movements, every wound can be the last. Our goal is to create fights that are accessible to everyone. An intuitive set of basic abilities allowed us to get rid of the need to memorize complex mechanics and combinations, while preserving nuances and diversity. Movements can be canceled to simulate an attack, blows can collide, they can be reflected or avoided. This leads to a battle on a psychological level, very similar to a real samurai clash. Characters and Levels You can play one of 8 characters, each with its own story and unique fighting style. The composition of the game offers a full variety of games, from a fast and agile monk who uses only his own fists, to a muscular heroine with a giant sword, who compensates for her own slowness with stability during striking. The battles take place in an alternate vision of the Japanese otherworld. Players will compete on one of 6 unique, hand-drawn playing fields.
