Note: This early Access game is under development. Blackout Protocol is a tense top—down shooter that combines a 3-player cooperative action game and a "simplified roguelike" development system. You are agents of the S2P Corporation, and your mission is simple: fight your way to the heart of Sector 13, a vast underground research base that is currently overrun by its own deadly experiments. Protect your team You will have to cover your fellow agents not only from terrible monsters. In the cramped corridors of Sector 13, firing at your own is an eternal danger. Choose your goals carefully and coordinate your positions using in-game voice and quick chat. Keep calm and keep yourself in control. Physical danger is just a flower. When your paths cross with otherworldly horrors that want to scratch out your eyes, keep an eye on the level of panic, otherwise you risk going off the rails in the midst of a fight. But remember: monsters can panic too. Use light, sound and psionic guns to turn the tide and outwit your enemies. Survive, learn and try again Every time you enter Sector 13, you will find temporary improvements that give you an advantage during the current approach. You´ll also collect credits, weapon blueprints, and valuable data that you can trade for permanent improvements to shelters throughout the facility... if you can get to them. If you die, the patented S2P "Death Cancellation System" will return your consciousness to the beginning of the mission, allowing you to try again and again.
