PERISH is a stylish first–person shooter for four players united by a single mission. Destroy hordes of creatures among the black sands of Purgatory and sell their gilded corpses to cowardly priests. Kill majestic bosses and use the proceeds to get to Elysium, the place of cosmic revelations. You are amietri, a corporeal spirit doomed to a ghostly life halfway to Purgatory. Put an end to your suffering by performing the rite of Orpheus and defeating the Chthonic deities dominating your troubled journey to Elysium. DEVOID OF DEDICATION, start your journey with nothing but a broken sword. Only danake, the blood-soaked currency of the underworld, will allow you to purchase equipment more suitable for fighting the Lords of Strife who stand between you and Elysium. RISK VERSUS REWARD The vengeful creatures of Purgatory are gripped by the same thirst for gold coins that drives you. If you fall into the hands of enemies, you will lose the acquired wealth. Put your danaks in the Pantheon before you die, or continue your journey to Elysium, risking losing absolutely everything. THE POWER IN THE Underworld ASSEMBLY is a very lonely place. Gather up to three friends and together pave the gold-soaked path to Elysium. Use special devices for playing together in order to support, protect and resurrect each other on a dangerous path to eternal oblivion. Choose from a variety of ranged and melee weapons, and then equip your chosen weapons with a variety of impressive upgrades.
