The Forest Quartet is a narrative 3D puzzle game about the ghost of a deceased but not forgotten singer. In the three acts of the game, you will visit each band member to hold a farewell concert. Listen to them, solve riddles and fight the darkness that destroys their souls. An inexplicable something is destroying the dense forests in which Kirk drew his inspiration. Mushrooms gradually take over the space, turning the greens into dust. You have to save the forest with the power of your voice. An impenetrable darkness descended on the forest. JB´s house is besieged by monsters that have awakened in the bowels of the earth. Find the lost light and rekindle JB´s creative spark. As a result of the volcanic eruption, a devastating fire started in the nearby forest. Set up an underground water supply system and connect the pipes to stop the disaster. Interact with objects by singing, create light by touching your fingers. Fly, soar and transform into butterflies to explore the souls of the band members. The surroundings and objects complement the soundtrack with unique sounds from the crackling of a forest fire to the howling of a cold wind in a cave. Relive the pain and loss. Deal with the grief and ignite a creative spark in the band members. No descriptions or instructions. You gradually gain new powers as you travel. The original jazz soundtrack was written by Mads´ dad, Nina is voiced by his sister, and the compositions are performed by the musicians of The Danish Radio Big Band from Copenhagen.
