Description:
New unit types for all factions are joining the battle with the Escalation Pack. Each of the new units brings something new to their faction, from exceptional abilities to overwhelming firepower. Space Marines of Chaos - Forgefiend is a fast walker with two rotating cannons. The Forgefiend demonic engine was originally designed to sow death among enemy forces from afar. Roughly centauroid in shape, Forgefiend´s torso boasts twin weapon mounts that carry a hell-forged parody of imperial weaponry. The most common forge fiends are created with pairs of Hades autocannons instead of their main limbs, rotary artillery clusters that allow them to mow down masses of enemy troops and even lightly armored vehicles with contemptuous ease. The Tyranids are the Guardians of the Hive, a staunch ranged infantry unit. The Guardians of the Hive are heavily armored machine gun beasts associated with extremely powerful symbiotic biological weapons. Although they have no eyes, the Hive Guardians possess weak telepathic abilities that allow them to perceive the feelings of other tyranids, giving them access to a huge amount of guidance information that will overwhelm even the most sophisticated technological cogitator. The meager mental abilities inherent in Hive Guardians mean that without the guidance of the Hive Mind, they are known to stand still, waiting for prey to come within reach, instead of moving forward to engage in battle. Adeptus Mechanicus - Skitarii Rangers Infantry squad Doctrina Imperatives with sniper weapons and moves through the shelter. Where the tech—priests are knowledge hunters, their Skitarii rangers are hunters of intelligent beings - in particular, the enemies of the Omnissiah. These unstoppable cyborgs will not rest until the bloody deed is done, because they are constantly driven forward by the imperative to find their enemies and ensure their destruction. They do this not by landing pods applied from above, or by suddenly teleporting into the thick of the enemy, but by tracking their prey for weeks or even months until it stops running. As soon as the specified target is in their sights, the air is filled with the blows and crackle of galvanic weapons, even as the Skitarii continue their relentless offensive. The stench of electrocuted corpses is always left behind. Space Marines are an infantry unit specializing in reconnaissance and infiltration. The first thing the enemy learns about the presence of a scout troop is when its advance stops abruptly. The heads snap back and the warriors fall to the floor, sniper fire drilling neat holes in their skulls. The sudden roar of shotguns knocks enemies off their feet, and bloody craters remain on their chests and backs. The barking of bolt pistols contrasts with the roar of heavy bolter fire and the screams of the dying as enemies caught in the crossfire are torn apart by mass rockets. Even artillery and infantry with heavy weapons are not safe, as ambushing scouts break out of hiding to wreak havoc behind enemy lines. No matter how the scout squad decides to attack their enemies, it will happen with complete surprise and from an unexpected side, their stealth and cunning will prove to be as deadly as a bolter and a blade. Astra Militarum is a Devil Dog Fast tank with a deadly armor-melting cannon. Getting its name from the piercing howl that this weapon emits when fired, the Devil Dog is capable of strik
