Gladius Prime was known among Imperial scientists as a planet rich in archaeological finds. During its colonization, ancient relics were found, hinting at the planet´s shrouded in mystery past. The finds turned out to be more than relics. A terrible echo of the ancient past has awakened, and the inhabitants of Gladius are embroiled in a deadly war for survival. Gladius Prime was once a peaceful planet. Now there is only war on it. Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War will immerse you in a world of terror and violence. Four factions will participate in a brutal war for dominance over the planet´s resources. This is the first 4-step strategy game in the Warhammer 40,000 universe! In it, you will be able to lead one of four factions: Astra Militarum, Space Marines, Orcs and Necrons, each with its own unique gameplay, technological tree, units and heroes. Challenge the AI, or you can team up or fight with your friends and strangers around the world. Features: eXplore Play as one of the four iconic Warhammer 40,000 factions (Astra Militarum, Space Marines, Orcs and Necrons), each with its own unique game style and technology tree. Explore a randomly generated world filled with special features and menacing nature that can undermine the morale of your troops. Take control of powerful ancient artifacts that will give you an advantage over your opponent. eXpand Build cities, buildings and fortifications to expand your Empire, create an invincible army and defeat your enemies. Get resources and explore new technologies to supply and upgrade your troops. eXploit Go through different storylines with each faction, sharing their fate on Gladius Prime, a Warp-corrupted world. After all, when the dust settles, only one faction will be the winner. eXterminate Command multiple units, issue city Edicts and apply Tactical Operations.
