Fortification Pack is an expansion for Warhammer 40,000 Gladius - Relics of War, in which each faction adds one new protection unit, which significantly expands the existing composition. This addition, which includes six new units, is a must-have and expands strategic options for all players. As the war rages on, all factions involved in a fierce struggle for supremacy on Gladius Prime resort to erecting powerful bastions and deploying new modern defensive weapons. Space Marines - Macro Cannon of Aquila Macro Cannons Aquila strongholds are massive fortifications often used as bastions on the defensive lines of the Empire. Each consists of ammunition silos topped with large turrets and huge macro cannons that give the support its name. The ammunition bunker allows the Aquila Macro Cannon to fire special "Yeast Projectiles", each of which is several Terran feet long and has a powerful charge that causes the projectiles to reach hypersonic speed when the Macro Cannon is fired. Astra Militarum - Void Shield Generator Abyss shields are usually localized force fields designed to protect monolithic Titans of the Adeptus Mechanicus, but static generators can be installed to serve as an umbrella for other vital purposes. The largest generators of the Abyss Shield can even project an invisible bubble of power over a large area of the battlefield, sheltering both troops and strategically important battlefield locations, absorbing or deflecting the energy of incoming ammunition. Chaos Space Marines - The Crown of Noctilite The Crowns of Noctilite are brutal structures erected by Chaos Space Marines to weaken the very foundations of reality. Crafted from a mysterious material known as black Stone, these huge psychic resonators tone the veil to deadly effect, protecting your own units and dealing damage to enemy psykers. Necrons - Gauss Pylon The mysterious protective turrets of Necrons, designated as "Pylons" by those who first encountered them, were first recorded in the uncharged world of WDY-272. Suddenly rising from the desert sands, the Gauss pylons opened fire without warning and with devastating effect, tanks and armored personnel carriers burning as crescent-shaped weapons tore through an unsuspecting Imperial Guard column, resisting return fire. Orcs are a Big Mek Especially talented or popular Meks will soon attract fans by leading their growing gang of subordinates.
