CHAOS BOONS Champions who have proven themselves in battle can find the gifts bestowed upon them by the Dark Gods, and even rise to the rank of Prince of Demons. VETERANS OF THE LONG WAR, the Chaos Space Marines waged a 10,000-year war against the Imperium and its Corpse-Emperor. All servants of the Imperium are their sworn enemies: thus, all units of the Chaos Space Marines have experience fighting with Space Marine units and receive increased morale and accuracy of hand-to-hand combat. The UNHOLY RITUALS of the City of Chaos were created to glorify the Dark Gods and torment their inhabitants in the name of the Gods. The population is a resource that Chaos Space Marines can use for unholy rituals, providing significant temporary bonuses depending on the God they worship.
