This is the beginning of a chain of events that can change the course of the war… The new Quorum Campaign DLC package "The Broken Alliance" for Battlestar Galactica Deadlock™ presents players with 8 new story missions that are organically integrated into the single-player campaign and connected to each other in a completely new plot exploring the intricate maze of colonial politics. New characters join the battle, breaking old agreements and creating new partnerships. The Broken Alliance expands the knowledge of the Battlestar Galactica universe and brings a new story of intrigue and betrayal to Battlestar Galactica Deadlock™. New Ships The addition includes four brand new large ships and two new squadrons that bring new functionality and tactics to the First Cylon War. The Minerva—class star cruiser is the predecessor of the Mercury-class star cruiser, the Minerva is a new addition to the Colonial Fleet that concentrates artillery, firepower and life support in a compact hull. Although it has less survivability than other classes of battle stars, the universal placement of Minerva guns and advanced missile capabilities have given it a reputation as a destructive destroyer. A supply ship of the Celestra class. The Celestra Class is a colonial research ship that uses a set of drones to apply ablative armor to friendly units. A resupply depot has been converted into a hangar, which allows Raptor crews to supply fleet cruisers and battle stars during the mission. Assault predators. Assault Predators are an aggressive variant of the proven colonial—type SUV. The external missile units on these ships are capable of providing significant anti-capital support, and the crews are trained in live combat support through their conventional electronic warfare systems. Argos Class Base Star — While the colonists continue to promote fighter superiority in space as a force in war, the Cylons continue to respond with their intention to overwhelm numerically. Argos is larger than Cerberus and Basestar Mk I, and contains a huge number of hangars and rocket launchers, but offers little for self-defense. A Hydra-class supply ship. Hydra is a Cylon supply ship equipped with repair drones that launch and attach to friendly units. Despite the lack of its own weapons, the Hydra has a sophisticated fire control system that is closely integrated with the technical compartment. This system allows him to coordinate missile strikes with nearby friendly units, greatly increasing the effectiveness of the deadly Cylon missile tactics.
