About the game
Players guide Mudokon champion Abe and his aquatic Gabbit partner Munch in the third Oddworld adventure, using special psychic abilities, cool power-ups, and other special abilities to reclaim the last Gabbit eggs in Oddworld, which were packed in a Gabbiar jar.
Key Features:
Play as a Team: Players use Munch and Abe together to overcome Oddworld´s challenges. Use the unique strengths of both characters:
Abe - Abe can climb and jump to reach new areas and then run to escape dangerous enemies. When all else fails, chant to take control of your enemy´s soul and use his weapons to clear the way to safety.
Munch - Munch can float through the new worlds of Oddworld. While on the ground, race along with the wheelchair turning on. Want to get the yapping syllables out of the way? Simply use Munch´s nifty remote control port to turn on the faucet and toss those Sloggies into the pen.
Special extrasensory abilities. Munch and Abe´s psychic abilities can expand their reach and force others to do their dirty work:
As Abe, let Abe roar to take over the armed Big Brother Slig and get almost everything out of the way. Abe can use the spooce, or spiritual power gained from collecting SpooceShrubs, to possess other creatures, but why sweat the small stuff?
As Munch: If Abe can´t get someone to do a job, Munch can use his handy remote-controlled head jack to grab nearby machines, including cranes, and 50-caliber anesthetist robots to get past some really tough obstacles.
Bonuses: Every friendly character you meet becomes your battle ally, Fuzzies, Mudokons…. Need to get somewhere quickly or climb over a wall like right now? Use Oddworld consumer power-ups like Expresso and Bounce to enhance Munch and Abe´s ability to perform cool moves. For a more direct approach, wield high caliber weapons on your enemies.
Oddworld, now in "new and improved 3D!" is a whole new strange world with lush rivers, high mountains and hundreds of trees that bloom or die.
