Stirring Abyss is a turn-based tactical indie game with strong RPG elements, in which you will uncover the ancient secrets of the depths in the setting of the classic stories of H. P. Lovecraft.
You command the surviving crew of the USS Salem, which sank during the early years of the Cold War while on a top-secret exploration mission. People find themselves amidst the ruins of a lost civilization, and their ship is too damaged to rise to the surface.
EXCITING STORY MODE
In Story Mode, you´ll uncover the secrets of the deep while making desperate attempts to rescue missing crew members and repair the badly damaged Salem. The decisions you make will determine the fate of your crew—and the world.
ADAPT AND EXPOSE YOUR TEAM TO MUTATIONS
The fate of the expedition depends on the strengths of its participants. You have a wide selection of skills and character traits at your disposal, all of which open up new dimensions in battles and story events. As you move deeper, you can also subject the crew to mutations that give you powers, but are creepy. The price of survival is high, and no one will leave the abyss the same.
