Taste of Power is a real-time strategy game set in an alternate Middle Ages. You will fight for one of three factions: Europe, China or the Middle East - in our version of history, these nations will fight for global supremacy. The entire continent will become a battlefield, and your role in this is to build cities, recruit soldiers, study new technologies and, of course, destroy opponents. Your people need a real commander!

Medieval warfare
Tactics are the essence of Taste of Power. It doesn’t matter how many troops the enemy throws at you if you meet them with a powerful artillery battery. Engineers rule the roost here; their defensive installations will help maintain strategic positions. And to take your opponent by surprise, you can build a network of underground tunnels. In Taste of Power, each side uses unique methods of warfare!


European Men of Arms
Phalanxes, spear walls or other formations - European knights are trained in different types of formations. Problems during battle? Summon the great Crusaders and defeat the enemy! Troops do not listen to orders and flee the battlefield? Friendly monks will help raise the morale of your army with the help of God´s Word. Or change the tide of battle with gunpowder. The decision is yours!


Chinese warriors
Unlike the Europeans and Timurids, Chinese warriors use gunpowder differently. Launch smoke screens to protect your troops from arrows, pelt enemies with poisonous grenades or use small rockets - turn the battlefield into hell for your enemy! To finish off enemy soldiers, send cavalrymen into battle. Moreover, you can set traps for the enemy and treat your wounded soldiers in field medical tents.


Bedouins of the Middle East
The Timurids, great warriors, used elephants in their struggle for control of the continent. Order the elephant to trample the nearest enemies - and victory is yours! Or use the support of burning oil chariots to slowly fry your enemies. Asian engineers are masters at plowing the soil, and it´s worth exploiting. An underground tunnel will help you bypass enemy front lines, quietly hit the flank and destroy enemy forces. Your choice will lead to either defeat or victory - make no mistake!


The game´s economy is similar to other real-time strategy games. Use workers to collect resources, and then create various devices. The building process in the game has been simplified so that you can carry out your strategic plans. Learning technology is an important part of the game, don´t forget to keep an eye on your infrastructure! You can also trade with incoming caravans. Or just rob them, taking everything valuable. The choice is yours!
