🔝Disney Plus is an online cinema, where more than 60,000 licensed films, cartoons, programs, and programs for children are presented.
Subscription { } opens access to paid content, which presents a huge number of the most modern cartoons and all this without advertising.
🔝Disney Plus can be watched on TVs that support the Smart TV function, as well as on computers, mobile phones, tablets and game consoles. In addition to Disney films and TV shows, users will have access to products from the Pixar studio, the National Geographic channel, the Marvel cinematic universe, episodes of Star Wars and the entire library of The Simpsons.
🔝 Advantages of the service:
The service specializes in the main Disney entertainment brands included in Walt Disney Studios (Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Disneynature) and presumably National Geographic. The service will operate in parallel with the Hulu OTT service, 60% of which is owned by Disney. Bob Iger has stated that Disney will focus on family entertainment (there will be no R-rated movies on the service), while Hulu will continue to focus on "generalist" programming.
The service is expected to have approximately 7,000 episodes of television programming and 500 movies. The Walt Disney Studios library that will be available to watch on the service will reportedly include Disney and Pixar animated films, Disney films, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Disneynature. National Geographic Channel content will also be available on the service.
The service was initially planned to have four to five original films and five television shows with budgets ranging from $25 million to $100 million. In August 2018, it was announced that the planned Star Wars series would cost $100 million. Captain Marvel will be the first theatrical film to be available exclusively on Disney.[22]
In November 2019, the service unveiled a special warning to viewers that some cartoons contain "outdated cultural stereotypes." The cartoons in question include Dumbo (1941), Fantasia (1940), Lady and the Tramp (1955), and The Jungle Book (1967). These cartoons have been criticized for their racist overtones. In Dumbo, in particular, there is a scene in which faceless black workers sing about working all day and all night and not being able to read or write. There is also a scene with a crow named Jim Crow. This name was used as a derogatory term for black people in the 19th century.
