Caverns of Mars: Recharged added more caves, difficulties, weapons, ratings, and modernized graphics to the simplicity and excitement of the original game. Well, what would Recharged be without new music!
In Caverns of Mars: Recharged, you need to descend into the tunnels under Mars and rush headlong to destroy the reactor deep in the enemy base. Dodge debris, overcome obstacles and shoot at enemies, but save your ammo, because the way down is still long. There is little ammunition, but there are many enemies, so aim better.
Game Features:
Completely destructible environment: make your way through obstacles, but also remember about the fuel supply: each shot reduces the time allotted for the descent.
Arcade: go through three Martian dungeons within the allotted time and manage to destroy the reactor at the very bottom. Collect upgrades along the way to make each playthrough unique.
Challenge Mode: Complete 30 missions of increasing difficulty and pass navigation, combat and other mini-tests.
Power Ups: Find weapons that change your strategy on the fly. Create a new path with a focused rail gun or change the spread of pellets with a rapid-fire shotgun.
LAN Play: Call a friend and have one navigate while the other shoots from the accompanying drone.
