Welcome to Sharpwood, a cold frontier town torn by violence where no one is without sin. Smugglers, criminal gangs and loud-mouthed populists are at home here. To maintain peace and order, young sheriff Lilly Reed (Sarah Hamilton, The Longest Journey) will have to join forces with fugitive Jack Boyd (John St. John, Duke Nukem) - and pray that her risky plan doesn´t get out of hand.
• Lead the sheriff´s department
Your subordinates are not just some faceless resource; they are living people with their own strengths and weaknesses, their own fears and prejudices, and you will have to reckon with all of them if you plan to survive. Do any of your guys abuse alcohol? Or does he constantly make up excuses to avoid going to work? Or maybe he refuses to follow your orders at all? You will have to show tenacity and persistence to establish discipline in this department.
• Conduct tactical operations
During the most dangerous missions, the game will switch to turn-based tactical combat mode. Gather a squad of your best cops (or send drunks and stupid lazy people on a mission - the situations are different!). Carefully study the area, adjust your plans, quietly approach the suspects and use non-lethal weapons and equipment - if the situation allows, of course. Yes, sometimes gunfights are almost impossible to avoid, but be careful: in This Is the Police 2, no one has a health bar. One bullet can cost a cop his life.

Collect evidence, study case materials, interrogate suspects (or use, ahem, more effective methods) and bring the scoundrels to justice. What, the suspect turned out to be innocent? Well, it´s time to find out how incorruptible Judge Sharpwood is.
