Welcome to Bahlam, the sunken city of the ancient gods in the South Atlantic Ocean. Having survived a terrible shipwreck, Nikolai Bernstein, a marine archaeologist and adventurer, wakes up at a depth of 11,000 meters below sea level. He is seriously injured and unwillingly finds himself connected to a supernatural companion system. Trying to uncover the secrets of what is happening, our hero begins to explore the lost city, gradually realizing that something unprecedented and sinister is watching his every step. On the way home, you will meet miners from the peaceful Wozan tribe — they are afraid of the ancient gods and have been dreaming of returning to the surface ever since their ancestors were enslaved 5,000 years ago. Some of them were able to escape from their captors and establish secret colonies deep in the sunken ruins, while others are still forced to suffer under the yoke of evil hostile creatures who seized the city after the sudden disappearance of the ancient gods. You will find a truly non-linear gameplay in the genre of metroidvania, five different game areas with lots of puzzles and traps, clashes with formidable bosses, as well as captive Wozan creatures that you have to free. Your companion system gradually puts the traversed areas on the map, and its useful abilities - hacking, terrain scanning and telekinesis — help you control the environment. Explore Bahlam however you want — climb, crawl and dive without any restrictions. As you progress, you will be able to find ancient weapons, upgrades for your suit and hacking protocols for the droid — your capabilities will constantly expand. All the equipment in the game is carefully balanced, and to overcome certain dangers or puzzles you will have to use it wisely. In the cooperative game mode, you can explore the ancient depths with a friend who will take control of an invulnerable companion system.
