Its creation was influenced by games such as FTL: Faster Than Light, RimWorld, Dwarf Fortress and Space Station 13. This sci-fi game is a combination of rag doll physics, alien monsters living underwater, teamwork and overwhelming fear. LOOK INTO THE ABYSS In the not too distant future, people went to the moon of Jupiter. Its radioactive surface is covered with ice, so life exists only in the ocean. Travel through the harsh underwater world, be friends or feud with four local factions. Find out what is hiding in the depths of Europe. HELP YOUR FRIENDS SURVIVE OR MAKE SURE THAT NO ONE SURVIVES In Barotrauma there are many ways to have fun, but just as many ways to die. Work together with your team to achieve your goals, or prepare for treason if there is a traitor on board. Play together with friends, strangers, or your worst enemies. EXPLORE, MANAGE, COMMUNICATE, Travel underwater, complete missions of the last representatives of humanity, explore the ruins of an alien civilization, fight monsters or escape from them. Control complex onboard systems like sonar, nuclear reactor, weapons, engines and pumps. Communication plays a primary role! EXPERIMENT, MANUFACTURE, CREATE, set up complex on-board wiring, a comprehensive manufacturing system and a medical bay. Use the built-in editors to create your own submarines and monsters that can compete with ordinary ones. You can even get into our program code and change everything. Features: It´s better to play online — collect from 2 to 16 players on a submarine. The number of players can be increased by bots. The single-player mode is also available and will be further developed. 6 classes of players with different skills and tasks: captain, engineer, mechanic, doctor, security officer and assistant. The map and missions created using procedural generation, as well as several game modes, will make you play this game over and over again.
