Kwameno generally prefer to be left alone to focus on their research, and their societies are often organized as a wartime economy, but with an emphasis on research rather than military matters. They value solving puzzles and discovering new knowledge above all else, certainly more than distractions such as diplomacy, war, or espionage. They also have a natural affinity for energy technology, and due to the abundance of energy on their ships, stations, and cities, they use energy fields where many others might use solid materials.

Their governments are typically based on a geniocracy, which uses unique facilities such as the Labyrinth of Enigma to determine which of them is most worthy to lead, and the Center of Transcendence, a miracle that will cause a kind of singularity that will free them from physical limitations. and let the research continue forever.

The Gisurians are legion, with an incredible rate of reproduction and a ruthless drive to obtain and consume enough resources to keep their growing population happy enough to prevent the tendency towards tribal strife. They construct their ships using partially organic processes, allowing them to be more durable, but their real focus is on their numbers.
