Your world... Your rules! In Just Cause, you play as a Latin American operative sent by a secret US government organization to the country of San Esperito to overthrow a corrupt regime. This state, located in South America, is suspected of creating weapons of mass destruction, and your mission is to restore the balance of world power. And it is in your best interests to get to this tropical paradise, since many factions that are fighting for power simply need a “gentlemanly” push in the right direction.
Just Cause offers you a free style of play. Do whatever you want: pit the island´s factions against each other, incite the populace to revolt, create alliances with rebel forces and drug cartels. The game takes place in a detailed world of over 1,000 square kilometers of mountains, jungles, beaches, cities and villages. You can explore the island by land, sea and air, as you have at your disposal the most varied vehicles ever seen in a video game.
