302. When determining adipic acid in the product of butadiene hydrocarboxylation by paper chromatography, the resulting spots, developed with methyl red, were cut out. Dried and weighed. For standard mixtures with different contents of adipic acid, the following data were obtained:
Mass of acid, mg 5 10 15 20
Weight of paper with stain, mg 61 106 146 186
A portion of the analyzed sample m1 (mg) was dissolved in V (ml) of water and 0.05 ml portions of the resulting solution were chromatographed. The mass of the resulting spots was m2 (mg). Determine the percentage of adipic acid in the analyzed product using the following data:
Problem No. 302
m 1, mg 110
V, ml 15
m 2, mg 90
