Scientists have detected a mysterious signal coming from the Red Planet.

And the information contained in it put the researchers from Orochi into a dead end. Having deciphered the signal, the corporation´s analysts realized that it was of reasonable origin. The Orochi Board immediately decided to classify all data on the discovery so as not to risk it. In an atmosphere of complete secrecy, the corporation begins construction of the Alpha Pathfinder base, a Martian research outpost whose crew will be tasked with determining the true nature of the signal.

You are Shane Newhart, an engineer on the Alpha Pathfinder, and your security clearance is too low for you to know anything about the mysterious signal. Your task is simply to supervise the operation of the station until the arrival of the transporter "Cyrano" with a team of shifts.

But after some time, the station is overwhelmed by a wave of strange failures and incidents. Life support systems are malfunctioning, the greenhouse is filled with some strange fog, and the rest of the crew, who went outside on the rover, never return.
