Detailed design for the installation of sliding dampers on the air path of the RWP of the CHPP.
The solution proposed by the project is to install new smaller air ducts with dampers, bypassing the heaters. In this case, it becomes possible to open the gates on the newly installed air ducts to direct the air around the heaters along the path of less resistance.
The need for bypassing heaters arises in the summer, when the CHPP operates in inter-heating mode and there is no need for air heating. At the same time, when the fan is operating at the lower stage, there is often not enough air capacity to overcome the hydraulic resistance of the heaters and ensure the normal operation of the boiler unit. Therefore, to ensure the normal operation of the boiler, it is necessary to switch the fan to a higher capacity, which leads to an excess of air and excessive consumption of electricity.
