Chart paper factory” is a large enterprise in a highly specialized area for the production of chart tapes and disks for all types of self-recording measuring and recording instruments. The factory produced its first products in April 1973. Today, 100% of the company´s shares are owned by citizens and legal entities. Chart paper is used to record the parameters of such indicators as: temperature, pressure, humidity, speed, consumption of various resources over certain periods of time - using recording devices.
Diagram products are used in the following areas:
• energy (nuclear, hydro-, thermal power plants, boiler houses);
• metallurgy (enterprises for the smelting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and the manufacture of products from them);
• oil and gas extraction and processing industry (enterprises for extraction, transportation and processing of oil and gas);
•chemical industry;
• railways;
• mechanical engineering;
• gas, heat and water supply;
• medicine (for recording cardiograms, electroencephalograms, etc.).
During the Soviet Union, this enterprise was the most powerful in the entire Soviet space, there were almost no competitors, and there were a lot of buyers, that is, the factory flourished. But after the collapse of the USSR, the situation changed radically. First, scientific and technological progress is replacing factory products, replacing them with computer programs. Secondly, many small firms have appeared that have the opportunity to produce some products at a lower cost. Thirdly, the number of enterprises-buyers is decreasing. As a result, the volume of orders decreased, and, accordingly, the turnover and profit of the enterprise.
Nevertheless, over the years, the factory has been providing the consumer market of the country, countries of near and far abroad with diagrammatic products, having trained personnel, production and storage facilities, markets for raw materials and sales of finished products that have developed at that time.
New high-tech types of products have been mastered: printing on thermochemical paper for medicine, production of diagram products for speed measurement devices in railway transport. Purchased new equipment for printing and packaging products, computer and printing equipment. At the moment, the range of production of tapes and chart disks for control and measuring devices includes over 4200 items.
In order to more accurately identify the problems of the project and ways to solve them, conduct a SWOT analysis.
