Description

Boarding is coming to an end on the fast train, the next to wealth and glory in Railway Empire 2! Suit up as a slick entrepreneur and lead a small railroad company in the early 1800s by turning steam engines into the workhorses of the economy. Build your enterprise into the continent´s largest rail company and outmaneuver the competition by connecting cities and businesses with an ever-expanding network of rail lines, bridges and tunnels. At your disposal are 60 famous steam engines that pull freight and passenger cars, opening the historically significant era of the Industrial Revolution.

In Railway Empire 2, the maps are bigger, more detailed and brighter than ever. The entire US and Continental Europe is covered by two huge, expansive maps, while more detailed maps focus on specific regions of each continent. Improved pathing helps you focus on important decisions while you contribute to the development of the economy and the growth of cities. Semaphores are placed automatically, bridges can hold up to 4 tracks, and expanded train stations now hold up to 8 tracks.

Choose a manager for your railway company from 6 characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. If you´re not afraid of challenges, play 5 campaigns or any of 14 different scenarios. Set your difficulty level in fully customizable free mode, or build the perfect rail network in build mode. Take on the rivals of your railroad empire with your friends in online co-op. You can also get on one of your trains, sit back and enjoy the scenery passing by as the iron horse rushes along the rails.
