Introduction
As is known from the history of endurance running, there are world-class athletes (P. Nurmi, E. Zatopek, M. Gammoudi, K. O´Brien, R. Clark, F. Bayi, M. Boyt, K. Skah, S. Aouita , M. Keptanui and others), who, while training on their own, show outstanding results and have an effective running technique.
The question naturally arises: how could these world record holders in endurance running master a rational running technique, not knowing about its laws? This question can be answered unequivocally - by trial and error. In other words, endurance running coaches, unlike their colleagues from other types of athletics (throwers, jumpers ...), from the first step in their practical work with athletes, do not teach running techniques, as it is written in many textbooks and manuals, but improve them. technical skill.
