A probe of alien origin was discovered on approach to Earth. While people were unaware of anything, alien forces settled on the far reaches of the Kuiper Ice Belt, where they began to extract resources and prepare for an invasion.

When the peoples of the Earth were unable to unite in the face of an alien threat, transnational groups began to emerge led by military men, politicians and scientists who decided to independently repel a possible enemy. While the aliens´ motives remain unknown, factions form on Earth, driven by hope, fear and greed.
