• Russian League and European Leagues – To recreate the realism of real hockey leagues, NHL09 includes a Dynasty mode featuring the official Swedish, Finnish, Czech, German and even Russian leagues.

• "Master´s Stick" - Score goals on offense using one-handed feints, protecting the puck and leaning in with the whole bunch. Dominate defense by clearing the puck and using the new ability to lift someone else´s stick.

• "Pro" - Create your own player and become an NHL superstar! Coaches evaluate you in more than 50 categories. Earn your own hockey cards and enter the Hall of Fame.

• Management NHL 94 - Just like in the good old days. Two control buttons that everyone can handle. Hit, pass, and score goals against NHL pros.

• Media Control Center - Show the world your skills! Upload your highlight videos to the EA Sports World server. Create screenshots for your hockey cards.
