In Wasteland 3, you will lead a squad of desert rangers - lawmen of a world destroyed by a nuclear war, trying to revive society from the ashes. More than a hundred years have passed since the nuclear war. You are waging a hopeless struggle in the hope of preserving your beloved Arizona. Suddenly, the self-proclaimed Patriarch of Colorado contacts you, promising to help you if you take on a task he would only assign to an outsider. He wants you to save his land from the ambitions of his three murderous children.

Agreeing to undertake this desperate task, you leave the hot desert and head to the snowy mountains, where you will have to start all over again. Build a base, find vehicles to move through the snow, train recruits, and fight in the dangerous frozen wastes. You will have to decide who to trust in a land torn apart by corruption, intrigue, warring factions, mad cultists, gangs of cutthroats, and implacable relatives. Earn a reputation by making decisions that will profoundly affect Colorado, its people, and the story. Will you become Colorado´s savior or its worst nightmare?
