Description:
Knights and merchants recreates the Middle Ages. Apart from the purely fictional geography of our world, all game elements and scenes are based on the Anglo-Saxon period, 1200 AD. And we also didn´t use imaginary elements like legendary creatures. The player assumes the role of an ordinary captain of the palace guard. Plotting against the king catapults the captain into a situation where he is in charge of protecting the last royal province. This is all that remains of the fragmented kingdom, which broke up into many small principalities and fiefdoms. And now even the king himself, who has taken refuge in his capital, is threatened by enemy armies. This is the starting point of your adventure in the Middle Ages. Now you must retake all those provinces that once belonged to your king.
BROKEN KINGDOM: After many battles, the former kingdom was divided into many small principalities and counties. The king´s troops were thrown back into the last royal province, and the rulers of other provinces waged terrible, destructive wars against each other. The entire land has fallen into a state of chaos and now the former royal capital itself is under siege by the armies of rebellious lords. You belong to the last remaining group of the king´s loyal men and have been ordered to go to the king in the face of an imminent attack. PEASANT UPRISING: Build a prosperous settlement with a full-fledged economy. Arm your troops and meet the enemy on the battlefield! Master these quests and the king´s subjects can once again live in peace and freedom.Key Features: New soundtrack
