Unlike the urban version of the bus, this model is extended by one section, has swing (non-automatic) doors, high reclining chairs, individual lighting and ventilation shades for each passenger and is characterized by a higher degree of comfort. The driver´s work is facilitated by the power steering.

A significant disadvantage of the bus was the design decision on the rear placement of the engine. In the rear seats, passenger comfort was disrupted due to engine noise penetrating the interior due to the shortcomings of the noise insulation of the bus body, as well as gasoline odors that penetrated the interior during stops.

The bus was first introduced in 1964, and was subsequently improved with the outputs of new generations.

The kit includes three types of repainting (including a special one for the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980), as well as the ability to install the following improvements:
