When identifying a two-component mixture containing presumably propazine (component "X") and diprazine (component "Y"), a chromatogram was obtained using thin-layer chromatography using "witnesses", in which the distance from the start line to the front line of the solvent is 100 mm, and the distance from the start line to the center of the spots of the components "X" and "Y" and witnesses (propazine and diprazine), respectively, are equal to:
l (x) = 38 mm, l (y) = 79 mm,
l(propazine) = 40 mm, l(diprazine) = 78 mm.
Calculate for each component of the mixture and witness the relative mobility coefficient Rf and determine whether the chromatographed substances are identical to each other.
