Description

Become the protector of the forest - or the villain whose name inspires fear. BLACKTAIL tells the story of the origin of Baba Yaga, and what this legend will be is up to you. You will master archery, learn how to perform magic and unravel the dark secrets of a vibrant fantasy world inspired by Slavic mythology.

The story is told from the perspective of Yaga, a sixteen-year-old girl who was accused of witchcraft and expelled from her native village. Your revived memories have returned in the form of vile spirits, and now you must capture them to shed light on your own past.

The fate of the forest depends on your decisions, and thanks to the morality system, every choice you make affects your skills.
With the help of a faithful bow and a magic gauntlet, you will have to overtake the dodgy spirits and defeat the mighty forest monsters.
You have to make arrows, brew potions, hunt wild animals and get the supplies you need to survive in the wild thicket.
Treasures hidden everywhere carry knowledge about this world and its inhabitants.
The recipes you find can be used to prepare elixirs that will allow you to improve your abilities and create your own style of play.
