Detailed design for the reconstruction of the cathodic protection system for gas tanks.
Calculation of cathodic protection in MS Word format.
Electrochemical protection is designed to protect underground tanks (gas holders) from soil corrosion by forming a negative protective potential on the protected metal in relation to the surrounding corrosive environment (cathodic polarization).
To do this, the tanks are connected to the negative pole of an external DC source, because. it acts as a cathode, and the positive pole of the current source is connected to the anode ground. Under the action of the applied “tank-ground” potential difference, the current from the soil flows into the pipeline, protecting it from corrosion.
Gas holders are made of steel Vst3sp GOST 380-60
The insulating coating is bitumen, thickness 6 mm.
The project provides for the installation of low-carbon steel in the form of an I-beam with parallel edges of the shelves, normal "B" No. 20, as a horizontal extended anode ground electrode.
Format - DWG compatible with AutoCAD 2004-2017, Compass, ZWCAD, nanoCAD, BricsCAD, etc.
