Duck Dynasty is a reality-show-styled action game based on a very popular TV program broadcast by the American company A&E. The game is created by the Romanian studio Fun Labs, known to players mainly thanks to the popular hunting series, created in collaboration with the Cabela chain of stores.
Duck Dynasty tells the story of the American Robertson family, whose family company has been manufacturing hunting supplies, including the best-selling duck bait known as Duck Commander, since the 1970s. The Robertsons themselves are certainly original characters, and their common feature is their long and lush beards, passion for hunting and other crazy games in the bosom of nature.
In the game, we play the role of a young man who is trying to penetrate the graces of an unusual family and become a full participant in the events. During the fictional campaign, we will travel around Duckville, completing tasks assigned to us by various characters known from the program. The list of events that we will be able to take part in is impressive, and most of them reflect the more or less crazy actions of the Robertson family, shown in reality shows. These include fishing, shooting ducks and squirrels, dangerous explosive games and water scooter racing.
In Duck Dynasty, Romanian developers have successfully used the experience gained during the creation of the Cabela´s Hunting and Rapala Fishing series. The game offers a similar setting quality, with hunting or fishing activities designed with more realism. For fans of the show, an accurate representation of the characters with all their typical appearance and character traits will be an indisputable advantage.
