8. To determine cadmium in the alloy by the addition method, a sample of the alloy weighing m g was dissolved in a mixture of acids and the solution was diluted to 250.0 ml. An aliquot with a volume of 20.00 ml was polarographed and the height of the polarographic wave of cadmium was measured. Other alloy components under these conditions did not interfere with the determination of cadmium. After adding a standard solution Vst ml of 0.0300 M CdSCO4 to the electrolyzer, the wave height increased to h2.
