60. Option 2
When determining platinum elements (Pd, Pt, Rh, Ir), the sample weight of 1.0000 g was transferred to a solution with a volume of 10.00 ml after decomposition and corresponding treatment. Samples of 100.00 μl of the obtained solution were placed in an electrothermal atomizer (graphite tube) of an automatic atomic absorption spectrophotometer and an absorption signal of the analytical line of the element in the form of a peak height hx, mm was recorded on the chart tape of the recorder.
To construct the calibration graph, 100.00 μl of standard solutions of salts of platinum metals were sequentially injected into the atomizer and the values of h mm peaks were measured.
Sst (Pd), µg / ml 0.01 0.05 0.10
h (Pd) mm 8.5 45.0 90.0
Sst (Pt), µg / ml 0.04 0.08 0.12
h (Pt) mm 17.0 34.5 52.0
Sst (Rh), µg / ml 0.01 0.05 0.10
h (Rh), mm 12.0 59.0 118.0
Cst (Ir), µg / ml 0.10 0.20 0.40
h (Ir), mm 12.0 24.0 48.0
Calculate the concentration (g / t) of palladium, platinum, rhodium and iridium in the samples for the following options:
h, mm for line
Pd - 44.0
Pt - 39.0
Rh - 74.0
Ir - 35.0
