Metro-2: The Death of the Leader is a continuation of the Metro-2 game. One year has passed since the end of the original game: Gleb Suvorov and Lena Lapina were married, Natasha Mikhaleva returned to service after being wounded, and the Father of Nations, Joseph Stalin, passed away. In the highest echelons of power, a struggle began for the leadership of the country.
In the past, Beria´s conspiracy failed only because of the intervention of Gleb and Lena. And after the death of the leader, Lavrenty Pavlovich decides to take revenge on the people who prevented him in the past, ordering Natasha Mikhaleva to arrest the Suvorovs. However, she manages to capture Gleb, while Lena, warned in time of the impending action, manages to escape. Now she must find her husband and get out of Moscow.

The game takes place in Stalinist Moscow: you will visit the Moscow metro stations, the secret metro line D-6, communal apartments, Moscow courtyards and much more.
