Get an O&O Defrag 24.5 Professional license. With its help, you can speed up your computer by defragmenting hard drives, as well as optimizing the performance of SSD-drives and extending their lifespan.
O&O Defrag 24.5 Professional effectively defragments hard drives and optimizes the performance of SSDs with a completely new drive optimization method, SOLID.
SSDs have many advantages: they are fast, compact, and powerful. Their lifespan is determined by the number of reads and writes. Fragmented data access shortens this lifespan. Wear is one of the main concerns when using SSDs. The new SOLID optimization method from O&O Software is by far the most resource-intensive and hardware-compatible defragmentation method. It significantly extends the lifespan of the SSD.
The newest versions of O&O Defrag 24.5 include a new SOLID / COMPLETE method: scattered file fragments will be reconnected and stored in fewer memory locations. This leads to a reduction in the time of access to these memory cells for reading and writing. As a result, the SSD is faster and its expected lifespan is increased by reducing the number of reads and writes.
Along with the new SOLID / COMPLETE method, the existing SOLID / QUICK method has been improved: it is now faster than COMPLETE and is suitable for periodic faster defragmentation. Both methods can extend the lifespan of SSDs, but differ in the duration and degree of protection of the hardware.
