Task 3. Conduct a thermodynamic calculation of a piston engine operating according to the Diesel cycle, if the initial specific volume of gas is v1, the compression ratio is = v1 / v2; initial compression temperature t1; the amount of heat supplied in the q1 cycle. Determine the state parameters at the extreme points of the cycle. The enthalpy (h), internal energy (U) are determined relative to the state of the gas at T0 = 0 K, the entropy (S) is relative to the state under conditions of T0 = 273 K, P = 0.1 MPa. Build a loop in pv and Ts coordinates. For each process, determine the work, the amount of heat supplied and removed, the change in internal energy, enthalpy and entropy. Determine the operation of the cycle, thermal efficiency cycle. The working fluid is air, weight is 1 kg. R = 0.287 kJ / kgK; Cf = 1kJ / kg. The data for the task is selected from the table. 3.
Task 4. Determine the final state of the gas expanding polytropically from the initial state with parameters P1, t1, the change in internal energy, the amount of heat supplied, the work obtained if the polytropic index (n) and the final pressure P2 are given. Show the process in pv- and Ts-coordinates. The source data necessary to solve the problem, select from table. 4.
