INTRODUCTION

Relevance of the topic is that Fayola is called the father of modern management theory for the fact that he was the first to rise above the level of the factory floor, generalized the principles and art of management administration as a whole. In addition, he is considered the most outstanding European who contributed to the foundation of the "classical" school of management.
The emergence and development of management is connected with the need to achieve certain goals, which cannot be achieved through individual work. Even in prehistoric times there were large tribes that were engaged in collective farming, grazing, hunting. Already in those times there was a division of labor: some people were directly engaged in labor activity, others managed them. Certain managerial relations were gradually formed between these two groups of people. Separate signs of management appeared already in the most ancient societies, where the higher caste of priests was transformed into religious functionaries, in fact, into managers.
Gradually, a new type of business people appears. In addition to observing ritual honors, they were in charge of collecting taxes, managing the state treasury, managing property affairs, conducting business documentation, accounting, carrying out supply, control, planning and other functions, which now determine the content of managerial work.
Thus, in the very beginning, management was formed as an instrument of commercial and religious activity, turning over time into a social institution and professional occupation.
