This is the next edition of the project “The Textbook of the Yard Guitarist”. At this time, the emphasis is on rock, given the basics of an improvisational game. In addition to educational material, the book contains biographical stories about leading musicians and rock groups (61 performers in total). The theory is illustrated with qualitative examples of varying degrees of complexity (141 song composition). The unconditional merit of the author is that he completely abandoned academic seriousness and speaks to young people in a clear and accessible language, with a fair amount of humor. Actually, the reader does not feel that he is being taught, although he gets enough knowledge of the theory and technique of playing the guitar. The book is of interest not only for guitarists, but also for all people interested in pop music.
